Being an artist, one of my most fulfilling projects was painting murals in children\u2019s hospital wards, where I used art as a way to bring comfort and healing to young patients. For me, art is a deeply personal form of self-expression\u2014a way to process both joy, transforming emotions into something tangible that resonates with others. Each piece tells its own story, infused with the essence of a moment, memory, or feeling that I seek to convey.<\/p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">I am an artist from Yorkshire. I was brought up in a small moorland town in\u00a0 Yorkshire. Naturally I have spent a lot of time around beautiful moor landscapes. I am always looking for that unique image to capture, even in my minds eye. I have future design to show in time on this platform. Many towns and cities surround me with local heritage. Most of the surroundings can be white noise, which enhances even more things of a unique nature in between. I have been practicing as an artist since 2003, I have also been keen with interest in the Holy realm, and in 2005 saw my first piece of art develop naturally, giving me the confidence to be painting today in fluency.\u00a0I want people to represent me, showing they understand what I want to express to the world.<\/p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Art is everywhere for me to absorb, and collaborate ideas into my pieces. My best work to date gets developed out of the blue. It comes in a time I seem to be more zoned out of my surroundings. My projects still focus on techniques, looking for something new. In the future, I would like my own gallery one day, to show my work to the people. This could also help local artist share the experience too. To see artwork up close is one of the things I enjoy, as I learn the artist brush strokes. The colour contradictions are the central concerns with my painting style. It disrupts the surface of the canvas, pouring light paint over dark.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><\/p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Paint floods, allowing space for unpredictability and the unexpected, have a precarious balance between colour and chance. I paint with acrylic, and texture in places is key. Some blobs and marks create their own effect, echoing the layers to construct parts of the image. The intensely basic boost of colour over the layout against a flat colour, these expressive applications flirt with no distractions. Nowhere to hide mistake in the random dance of textures and effects. The construction of unique and likeness through individual strokes to capture the place in time. I find images that I take with a camera or view online. These start ideas to play with colours, and strong contrasts.<\/p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><\/p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">I am always thinking of attempting abstract of patterns, colours, body forms and size. To see what works, and try mixing medias like ink, pencil drawing. Black and white illustrations I have seen, which inspire me, with added splash of a bold primary colour. It gives out a look of playful and free. Art through exploring aspects of feeling through visuals, is resulting in a surreal world for the individual.
